Top 100 Men’s World Ranking Rubber Usage: The Front Line [By Manufacturer & Share by Country of Manufacture]

Why do they choose it?
[Share of rubbers used by manufacturer] and [Share by country of manufacture]

We surveyed the rubbers used by the top 100 players in the men’s world rankings announced on May 18, 2026 (※The data is as of May 11, so some players may have changed their equipment since then).

We have already introduced each player’s individual rubber choices, but this time we’ll focus on the shares by “manufacturer” and by “country of manufacture.”

The top three by manufacturer are Butterfly, TIBHAR, and China’s DHS, and these three companies alone account for 66% of the total. Among them, Butterfly accounts for 39.5% overall, taking a commanding No. 1 spot.

However, if we look at it by “country of manufacture,” a different picture emerges. In fact, German-made products account for 47.5%, nearly half the total, surpassing Japanese-made products (all Butterfly products, at 39.5%). Note that, with the exception of one Anti-spin rubber from Dr.Neubauer, all German-made rubbers are manufactured by the major supplier ESN.

In Asia, especially in Japan, there is still a strong tendency to believe that “Butterfly products are the safe choice,” but looking at the world’s top front line shows that users of German-made rubbers actually make up the majority.
