Rubbers used by the top 100 men in the world rankings. BUTTERFLY with a 39.5% share. And the battle with German rubbers

Top 100 men. BUTTERFLY ranks No. 1 in share, TIBHAR No. 2, and DHS No. 3

In "Table Tennis Goods 2026," released in June 2026, we revealed the rubbers used by all 100 men in the world rankings as of May 18. This data was compiled with the cooperation of table tennis manufacturers such as BUTTERFLY (Tamas), DHS, and TIBHAR, as well as ESN, the German rubber supplier.

Of the top 100 players, 96 use shakehand and four use penhold. Since all four penhold players use both sides, we surveyed a total of 200 rubbers.

Among them, BUTTERFLY was the No. 1 manufacturer, with 38 players using its rubbers on both or one side, for a total of 79 sheets and an overwhelming 39.5% share. In second place was Germany's TIBHAR, with 28 sheets, or 14%, ahead of China's DHS. DHS, favored by many Chinese players, followed with 25 sheets, or 12.5%.
